Bat Halloween

Nightwing tells me he has something to tell me and it's big. Likely he had some hot date or something. Looks like Bruce Wayne won't be having a Halloween party this year.

Why? Batman is going to be a little busy.

Happy Halloween . Now back to the super criminal hunt.

War of the Boy Wonders

I know everyone has been asking me how the date went with Wonder Woman. I don't kiss and tell so don't ask me. When I return home, I found this happening.

I pull Nightwing off off Robin. " What are you doing Richard?"

" He's been drinking again." Nightwing protests .

Robin grabs a ....tippy cup? jumps in the Batmobile raving about how we'll never catch him.

" Great now he can be anywhere. Great work Bruce."

" Actually Master Richard. " Alfred states, " Master Bruce has been neglecting the refueling of the Batmobile he will probably only make it to the front about two feet outside the cave."

I shrug " Gas is expensive. "

" Your a billionaire." Dick frowns.

Truth is I actually haven't had the chance and Alfred 's been refusing to do it after the time Cassandra jumped out of driver's side yelling "Boo!" Maybe Barbara shouldn't have let her watch all those horror movies.

Sigh. Well I better go out into the front yard, and retrieve Robin looks like some one's going back to rehab.

I feel odd. Not that I have to wear this suit. As Bruce Wayne I often dress like this, no the fact that the person I'm going to see dressed like this is Diana.

This just feels weird. " Alfred? Are you sure this is the appropriate ?"

" Why yes sir." My butler replies. " You look smashing. "

" But it just seems strange. that our date would be have me wear something like this. "

I change the subject. " Did you find Gwen yet?"

" Are you nervous about this date Master Bruce?" He laughs.

" Answer the question." I roll my eyes.

" Yes sir she snuck into the teleporter back to her home, I found her in Mistress Cassandra's cave along with one of Master Timothy's teammates Ravager I think she's called. "

Note to self: Fix the teleporter so a two year old can't figure it out. Second note Install better security in Cassandra's cave. Though the talk of Ravager does remind me. " Has Tim answered any of your calls?"

" No sir, he probably just needs some time to grieve alone. "

I feel like doing more than grieving the Death of Bart Allen. " Get me the list of all the names involved with the boy's death, and pass it along to Wally West and all JLA members this means war. "


Alfred sighs. " Can you not think of the mission or one day?"

I smile "Fine old friend... is that door bell?"


I answer the door to find Dina dressed like this.


" Bruce? Why are you wearing that? Didn't you get the message that we go hiking?"

I look over to Alfred. " Um Sorry Sir.. The phone service is dreadful ever since Prince Vincent smashed the phone company I thought she said 'Viking' and assumed you were going to a museum.

Hh. I would have assumed Thor was protesting our date again. As i go to change clothes I make another note to myself. get Wayne Enterprises to hasten the rebuilding of the the structures ape boy destroyed. Or buy Alfred a hearing aid.

It never ends.

Jason was injured by a Xenomrphs acid blood. I followed him into the sewers . After some time this huge Queen Xenomorph. attacks me from out of the shadows, damn I had thought Superman had defeated all of them.


All the sudden the sound of gunfire tears through the silence just as bullets tear through the alien.

" And you say my way is wrong. " Jason coughs.

" Your hurt let me help you." I plead.

He laughs. " You've helped me enough Batman. " He pushes a button on his belt, and teleports, Somewhere.

Nothing for me to do but go home. Alfred had reminded me of my date with Wonder Woman. Me I'm glad Jason won't be problem for a while, since he's under SHIELD watch. Azreal On the other hand may still be a problem especially if he's still stalking Vampirella.


As I'm pondering this, the JLA communicator blares an alarm. I turn on the Bat computer, and Diana pops up on the screen. " Bruce. Darkseid has appeared in West City, we need all members there immediately. " Her tone lightens." First, The TX releases Xenomorphs and Predators, and now Darkseid is invading. If I didn't know better I'd think your manipulating this to avoid our date."


" I'm good, but not that good. " I reply.

" Was that a joke?" she asks.

" Maybe. "

" There's hope for you yet Batman. Wonder Woman out."

What does she mean by that?
