Stark screwed up big time.

The attack against the saiyans was going fairly well. Until Namor, and his Atlanteans showed up. and for some reason during the battle, Stark started attacking or own people who weren't Pro Reg.

Maybe he should have been sent to rehab. What's worse is he ordered a retreat, after Superman, Son Goku, and some others were captured. and all of his little goose steppers followed along. while the others were to shock to anything but regroup.


I return to a Gotham That Elektra and Deathstroke think they rule. I guess they haven't heard i rule the streets of Gotham. Somehow they gained control of the New Thunderbolts. Which leads me to believe Stark isn't only being a dick, but now a criminal as well. I think The Question would like this little tidbit.


Funny thing ever since the whole Civil War fiasco, I've been studying the nano probes. They use on the super criminals. I track the Thunderbolts down and use a remote control I devised just in case they ever came after me. " Thunder Bolts Your old orders are overruled, here are your new ones, attack Elektra Natchios and Slade Wilson. "

Though I hate to say it, during the chaos some Of Arkham's worst were freed , by design or happenstance I'm unsure, But Now the Joker, Penguin, Killer Croc, Clayface, Mr. Freeze Harley Quinn, and Poison Ivy on the loose.

And some less dangerous ones escaped as well. Such as Mustard Man. Yes that's right Mustard Man. I wouldn't really say me and Robin captured him all those months ago. , as well he squirted mustard at us, and then slipped on it. Even I laughed at that.

I just hope this doesn't become a gang war especially if the Foot thinks they can defeat , an overextended Hand.

Heh. That should keep the two of them busy until I can give them my undivided attention. Now to the bigger picture. The saiyans have set up a base in the Pacific Ocean, they actually crushed several islands together to make it into almost a small country.

I sent some probes over it. And have a pretty good layout of the it. Before I try to get the Justice League, Titans or others to attack, I have weaken them some And I have just the man for the job. Joe Fixit.

When I return to the cave, I put in a call.

" Bruce? This is Batman."

" First off The name's Joe, Not Bruce, But I'll forgive that once. Second, it ain't often that I get a job from an Urban legend."

" I can assure I'm real Mr. Fixit. As is the money I'm offering you."

" Now yer talkin' my language, what's the job Bats?"

"I want you to cause as much destruction as you can at the saiyan base. And if you happen to see any super heroes there you can rescue, well that'll bring you more money. " I tell him. " Check your account, and you'll see the down payment. "


"Damn!" He shouts. " Alright Dark Knight you have a deal!"

Good. No one can bring destruction on a place quite like the Incredible Hulk.


As I'm pondering my next move. Alfred Gives me some tea, and sandwiches. " If i could be so bold sir, might some metahuman help be advantageous to Gotham City?"

I look over at him. " Who might you suggest Alfred?"

" Well perhaps you should bring the boy Mistress Cassandra is so infatuated with into the fold as it were. And Maybe his sister could be of so,me help? Just until Gotham, and this freed , and the saiyans are gone I mean. "



This idea gives me a migraine. " He's young untested, and angry."


Alfred grins. " Like a certain young Bruce Wayne once was?"

" No. " I shake my head. I'm thinking he may be more like a young Jason Todd, but less whiney. " His father trains them to be killers Alfred, which is why I don't want Cassandra... Wait where is she?"


" I do believe she is with, the young killer as you put it."

" Damn it!" I jump into the Batwing, and fly to West City. I'm really going to have to find a way to get her to stop stealing my JLA teleporter control. After three hours, I approach West City, and I think I may be a little tired because all the sudden the sky went dark, and what looked like a gigantic dragon formed in front of me.


I close my eyes and rub them and when I open them, the sky is bright, and the dragon is gone. Hnh. Your cracking up Batman. I and in front of Capsule Corp, and am greeted, by a young woman, and young man holding two infants. And from the tails and the uncanny resmblence, the young woman has to Bulma, they are part saiyans.

" Woah! Batman!" The man exclaims.

The girl just shrugs. " Dad says he's been here a lot since Vincent started dating his kid."

" Where is your father ma'am?"

" In the house. I'll buzz you in. " She smiles. From her demeanor, I'd say she's not at war with the human race, which would be odd, since she is half human herself. which gives credence to my earlier theory that's Vegeta is not a part of this, but I have to wonder why he hasn't fought them.

I find him, and his wife, contemplating seven silver orbs with stars on them. Bulma looks up. " Are you here for Cass? I'll go tell her your here."

" What are those ?" I ask pointing at the silver spheres.


" Nothing." He grunts. " I can tell you want to say something Bruce come out with it."


Straight and to the point. " Where have you been while your people have been attacking Earth? "

" Family Business." He stares at me.

" Business with your father?" I goad.


He laughs at that. " No. Pertaining to my grandchildren that I do believe you've met on the way in here. They were more important than my father's senility. Now That I'm back I the time has come for... How do you people put it? Regime change."


Well that's good to hear at least. " So your on our side?"


He smirks. " I'm on my own side."

I glare. " That doesn't fill me with confidence."

" That doesn't matter, what does is I will confront my father, presently."

" In case you want to know, he's captured Superman, Son Goku, and some others."

He shrugs. " Kal-El is as powerful as I am. He's also intelligent. He'll be fine. As for Kakarot, I have no doubt that clown will eat his way out."

Cassandra comes out smiling. " Bye!" She cheerfully waves at Vegeta, and oddly he cracks a grin. " Farewell."

That was strange. in the plane I can tell she wanted to ask me something, but couldn't find the words. Finally she says my name. " Bruce?"

" Yes?"

"Um.. If there was .. a way to bring Steph back would you do it?"

Not the Lazarus Pit suggestion again. " Cassandra, you should know how dangerous Lazarus Pits are by now."

She seems a little frustrated. " Not... um Lazarus Pits.... uh Something else."


I sigh. " If I could I 'd go back in time, and change what happened to Spoiler, But life doesn't work like that I wish it did."

She had an weird little smile on her face and repeated the word "wish." She was quiet the rest of the way to Gotham.
